Labor Day is a time to appreciate the contributions of the working class and to honor how hard they work to help our country grow and prosper. It is celebrated each year on the first Monday in September and is a national federal holiday in the United States and Canada, which means most people have the day off of work. And, since it always falls on a Monday, it means most people get to celebrate with a three-day weekend!

Sunrise on the Square Road Race 5K. The Sunrise on the Square Labor Day Road Race is a local favorite, and has been held annually in Downtown Newnan on the Saturday before Labor Day for over 40 years! This race will benefit the Newnan/Coweta Boys & Girls Club.
Labor Day 5K at The Avenue. The Avenue in Peachtree City will also have a Labor Day run to benefit Midwest Food Bank. Grab your two and four-legged friends and join us!
Light Up Your Labor Day with Hot Air Balloons & Fireworks at Callaway Gardens. Light up your Labor Day is a three-day celebration at Callaway Resort & Gardens! Stay and play all day with garden and beach access, waterfront activities like putt putt, and endless entertainment including the beloved Birds of Prey show.
