In the last two years, Fayette Toys for Tots provided over 8500 local children with toys because of assistance from organizations and individuals just like you. All local collection goes to local children. We have churches, scouts, service groups, schools, towns, fire departments and individuals that step up and help. “Trailers for Less” donates a 12 foot trailer every year for our use. McIntosh National Honor Society sold T4T paper trains and raised 1500 dollars last year for T4T. The Gaddy’s on Sandy Creek road dedicate their Christmas Light Show to T4T and have collected thousands of toys. This year McIntosh and Starr’s Mill High Schools played in the first annual T4T Kick Off Classic and raised over 1300 dollars. We put out collection boxes in over 150 local businesses and organizations and collect toys outside Walmart in PTC, Newnan and Fayetteville on weekends during the Christmas season. We have thousands of toy requests from Fayette and Coweta County residents and we need more toys and money to assure all receive toys this Christmas.
The opportunities to help are limited only by your imagination your desire to help. We can be found at Fayettetoysfortots.com. On that site you can find information about our program and sign up to volunteer, see a list of local toy collection sites or host an event. Christmas is rapidly approaching and we urge you to come out and help us help our local children.
