The Great Southeast Pollinator Census is a citizen science project created by the University of Georgia. This project is designed for everyone to participate and make a difference for pollinator conservation! Watch the video to learn more about how to join the count.
Your family can help create and restore pollinator habitats across Georgia for butterflies, bees, moths, hummingbirds and other animals by participating!
Consider going to Country Gardens Farm (2050 Hwy 154, Newnan, GA 30265, 770-251-2673). They are making their farm available to anyone who wants to take part in this citizen science event, and will have the counting sheets. Bring a lawn chair and see how many pollinators your family can spot. The counting time is only 15 minutes.
