Six Flags Over Georgia Debuts First Single-Rail Family Racing Coaster

All-New KID FLASH Cosmic Coaster Brings Thrills for All Ages

November 3, 2023

Six Flags Over Georgia – the Thrill Capital of the South – is celebrating the grand opening of KID FLASH™ Cosmic Coaster with a Pass Holder preview this Saturday, November 4th. The attraction will open to all guests Sunday, November 5th.

The all-new KID FLASH™ Cosmic Coaster is a P’Sghetti Bowl twin-tracked roller coaster featuring innovative single-rail track and an inclusive train design that provides comfortable seating for both adults and children. Like a twisted bowl of spaghetti, the twin tracks cross over and under each other a dozen times during the ride cycle. The two sides can operate simultaneously for racing action or with a single side.

Situated in one of the most popular sections of the park, Gotham City, the new attraction continues our commitment to providing thrills the entire family can experience together.

This unique coaster will run two trains, on two parallel dueling tracks, simultaneously allowing guests to compete and race to the finish. KID FLASH Cosmic Coaster will span a cumulative 1,124 ft. With a 36” minimum height requirement, the new coaster expands ride offerings for families and young thrill seekers.

Joining the villains and heroes in Gotham City™, KID FLASH Cosmic Coaster will showcase a colorful LED lighting display, immersing riders in their very own comic book story. Integrated into the track’s top and sides, the Aurora LED lighting package will transform the roller coasters tracks into a kaleidoscope of lights and colors, creating a dynamic ride experience to be enjoyed by riders of all ages.

Six Flags Over Georgia is open weekends. Holiday in the Park returns November 18 through January 3, 2024.
