Rotary Club to Host ‘Fourth’ Fireworks at Newnan High School

Fireworks will return to the skies above Newnan High School for the annual Rotary Club Independence Day Celebration.

Marking a special occasion, the 4th of July celebration will coincide with the highly anticipated reopening of Newnan High School.

However, due to ongoing construction, parking will be limited. Attendees are encouraged to walk to the school or plan accordingly.

Entry to the event will be on Armory Road, and doors open at 5 p.m. The lower field will be open for families to gather and watch the show. Food trucks will be available, including Chick-fil-A, Jay Holtz Smokehouse, and Foundation Church.

Popcorn and water will be available from the Newnan Rotary Club.

Local bands The Interns and The Expectations will provide musical entertainment before the fireworks ceremony begins at dark.

There is no charge for admission and all ages are welcome.
