Hi! I’m Michelle, your Coweta/Fayette Macaroni Kid publisher mom! I’d like to introduce myself to our many new followers and kick off 2023 with 23 things about myself! I hope to have the opportunity to meet you soon!
- I've published Macaroni Kid Coweta Fayette for over 11 years and I love it!
- My mission with Macaroni Kid is to bring local fun, businesses, & events to you and your family
- I am a proud mom of 2 young adults. My son is a dancer and my daughter attends Kennesaw State Univeristy. Go Owls!
- I married my husband 23 years ago.
- My family moved to Georgia 16 years ago.
- Prior to living in Georgia, I had lived in southeast Florida (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale) for 20 years.
- I grew up in Pennsylvania and am proud of my Pennsylvania Dutch heritage.
- I have three brothers and am the oldest.
- I have a bachelor's degree in social work and master's degree in adult education from Florida International University.
- I love my daily green smoothies.
- I am a Star Wars movie fanatic. Every summer we host a Star Wars Movie Marathon.
- I enjoy crafting in my spare time. So far, I've learned jewelry making, paracording, knitting, crocheting, and sewing.
- This year I began creative Bible Journaling.
- Nothing's more important to me than God and family.
- I am a morning person.
- I can't run into the library for just one book. I have so many interests that no matter what section I browse, I will find at least 3 books to bring home.
- My 2023 New Years word is patience.
- After having lived in south Florida for so many years with it's continual summer, I love the seasonal changes in Georgia.
- I love making videos with my camera, although I don't do it as often as I would like.
- Last year I started a free garden and plan to share that with you this spring.
- I love to walk. It's my daily medicine!
- I love to #shoplocal and support local businesses.
- My husband just started a new job at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Nascar anyone?
