CHOCOLATE FOOTBALL BITES!
(So we are totally starting of with dessert! So what!)
- 4 cups Post cocoa pebbles cereal
- 6 squares baker's semisweet baking chocolate
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- White decorating gel
Place cereal in large bowl. Microwave chocolate, corn syrup and butter in large microwavable bowl on high 2-1/2 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal; mix well. Shape into 3-inch long football shapes, using slightly moistened hands. Place on waxed paper; cool completely. Use decorating gel to add lacings to footballs.
PIZZA BITES:
- 1 pound Frozen bread dough; thawed
- 2 cups Pizza sauce
- 1 Onion; peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 Yellow Bell Pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 Green Bell Pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil
Preheat oven to 400F. Divide the thawed dough into 4 balls. On a lightly floured surface, roll each ball into a 6-inch circle. Spoon 1/2 cup of the pizza sauce into each circle and spread it out to the edges. Heat some of the olive oil in a saute pan over medium high heat. Cook the onion and bell peppers until soft, about 5 minutes.
Set aside; let cool. Layer the cooled vegetables on the dough circles and top with mozzarella and Parmesan. Roll each dough circle up jelly roll style. Using a serated knife, cut each log into 6 slices. Place the slices on a lightly greased baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
HAM & CHEESE ON PRETZEL STICKS
Take cubes of ham and carefully push onto small pretzel sticks. Repeat with cubes of cheese.
FRUIT & VEGGIE PLATE WITH PEANUT BUTTER DIP
Slices of Apple, Pear, and Banana,Celery, and Carrots
Mix dip:
- 1/2 c peanut butter
- 3 Tbs honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Blend well.
GRANOLA PEANUT BUTTER HORS D'OEUVRES
- Toast, cut with cookie cutters into football shapes.
- Spread with peanut butter.
- Sprinkle with granola
CINNAMON ROLL UPS
- Flour tortillas
- Cream cheese
- Cinnamon
- Sugar
- Chopped pecans or walnuts
Spread warm tortillas with cream cheese. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Toss on some choppped pecans. Roll. Cut on the diagonal in 2 pieces. Serve.
