The Fear is Calling… Six Flags Fright Fest® Presented by SNICKERS®

The Biggest, Most Terrifying Halloween Celebration is Back

September 28, 2021

After a one-year absence in 2020, Six Flags Over Georgia —the Thrill Capital of the South — is thrilled to announce the return of Fright Fest® for the 2021 Halloween season. The park’s premier Halloween event returns for 20 select nights September 18 through October 31, featuring five, brand-new haunted mazes and a variety of new and reimagined scare zones, live shows and family-friendly daytime offerings.

During the day, little monsters can enjoy family-friendly fun with a Trick-or-Treat trail, pumpkin decorating, spooktacular storytelling, Halloween-themed games, and the park’s kid-friendly rides. Children 12 and younger are permitted to dress up in their favorite costumes and compete for the 1st place prize in a wickedly fun costume contest.

When night falls, the park transforms into a sinister showcase of ghosts and ghouls. As guests traverse the park, they are forced to confront their fears in six frighteningly, immersive scare zones where hordes of scare actors creep around every corner ready to terrify their unsuspecting victims. When guests need a break from the fear, they can enjoy three live Halloween-themed shows and the park’s monster collection of thrill rides and roller coasters.

The wicked minds behind Fright Fest® have also created five brand-new, elaborately themed haunted mazes that will be making their debut this year, including:

  • Home Haunt, the Jordan Family’s homemade haunted house is open for Halloween and guests are just dying to get in;
  • Zombie Zoo, these zombies are on display and safe to watch from a distance…as long as they stay in their cages;
  • Clown Hell, guests are about to discover the answer to an age-old question, where do clowns go after they die?
  • Haunted Holiday, Christmas is coming early this year, but this is one gift that should have stayed under the tree; and
  • The Haunted House, wander the heinous hallways of this house of spirits. View the ghosts of the tormented souls that died here and the hell they brought back from the grave.

Fright Fest® at Six Flags Over Georgia is open select nights September 18 through October 31. For more information, visit www.sixflags.com/overgeorgia. Select attractions require a Fright Pass.
