Lynch Park Pool to Reopen on Saturday, May 29

The City of Newnan will reopen the City Pool at Lynch Park located at 23 Richard Allen Drive, Newnan, GA, for the summer season beginning Saturday, May 29, 2021.  This summer, the Lynch Park Pool will be operated by the Summit Family YMCA.

The 4,200 sq. ft. pool includes a 42-foot-wide zero entry, a mushroom water feature, four lanes for recreational lap swimming, a dedicated catch pool for the water slide, a splash fountain for kids, and several tables and shade umbrellas.   The Y also plans to offer programs like swim lessons, family events, water safety, and water exercise classes. Be sure to look out for information about Memorial Day, July 4th, and special family activities throughout the summer!

Guest Fees:
Day Pass: $4.00 per person per day
Summer Pass: $45.00 per person
*Summer passes and swim lessons are available

Pool hours are as follows:

May 29 – August 8

  • Friday – Sunday: 12:00 noon – 6:00 p.m.
  • Monday – Thursday: 12:00 noon – 7:00 p.m.

August 9 – September 6 (weekends only):

  • Saturday – Sunday: 12:00 noon – 6:00 p.m.

All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 18 years of age or older.
