Let's face it 2020 has had its share of challenges. So many things are different and most notably is the lack of events happening for our neighbors and friends to come together. Macaroni Kid isn't letting a pandemic stop the fun!
Let's pay it forward and flood our community with kindness by "Elfing" Your Neighbor for the holidays.
What is an Elf Stocking?
It's simply a little treat that you leave on a neighbors doorstep to surprise them! There are no rules to how big or small it has to be, just an act of kindness to bring a smile to someone's face. You can use a gift bag or pick up a themed bucket at a dollar store. Some ideas might include:
- Candy
- Baked Goods
- Small Toys
- $5 Gift Card
- Bubbles
- Play Dough
- A drawing
- Pack of crayons
- Stickers
- Anything you think your neighbor will enjoy!
How does it work?
If you received an Elf Stocking:
- Enjoy your treat and have fun trying to figure out who left it for you
- Tape the "We've Been Elf’d" sign on your door or front window
- Print out 2 copies of the "You've Been Elf'd" page and the "We've Been Elf'd" page and make 2 Elf Stockings to give to your neighbors or friends (printables below)
- Deliver your baskets STEALTHILY to 2 neighbors who haven't been Elf'd yet
** You don't have to receive a stocking to give one! Start the trend in your neighborhood and give out a couple stockings.
ENTER TO WIN AN ELF GIFT BAG: Starting the week of December 6, families can begin entering for a chance to be "Elf'd" with a gift bag from Macaroni Kid and other local sponsors. We will have at least 20 to deliver, so many will have a chance to win!
WINNERS: The week of December 13 we will choose our winners, then later that week, team Macaroni Kid will suit up in our holiday gear (elf ears and all) and head out to start Elfing. No worries though, we will social distance. We will just be dropping gift bags off on porches for families to enjoy.
KEEP IT GOING: Once families have been "Elf'd" they can then keep it going with neighbors and friends. We will provide the info and directions so winners can fill up their own baskets or bags to keep it rolling! How cool would it be if everyone joined in the fun?

*Winners must be local and able to pick up prize in Fayette or Coweta county. MEGA Winner(s) will be notified by e-mail or social media messenger on Dec. 23.
