Easter Movies for the Whole Family

Since we're all watching a lot of shows right now, why not gather the family around the T.V. for Easter themed movies?  We've found shows for the whole family to enjoy.


Hop (PG)- The story of E.B., the Easter Bunny's teenage son, who heads to Hollywood, determined to become a drummer in a rock 'n' roll band. 

Rise of the Guardians (PG) - The Easter Bunny, along with other Immortal Guardians, team up to protect the innocence of children all around the world.

Peter Rabbit (PG) -  Not technically the Easter Bunny, is based on Beatrix Potter's 1902 Tale of Peter Rabbit. 


Risen (PG-13): In 33 AD, a Roman Tribune in Judea is tasked to find the missing body of Jesus Christ. 

Jesus of Nazareth (PG) - From the Nativity to the Crucifixion and Resurrection, this movie brings to life all of the sweeping drama in the life of Jesus. 

Jesus Christ Superstar (G) - Based on the Broadway play with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, the movie presents the last few weeks of Christ's life .

The Dog Who Saved Easter (PG) - About a dog who springs into action when three criminals try to sabotage a day care for dogs.


It's The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown (G) - Who doesn't love a holiday story brought to you by the Peanuts gang? This Easter classic centers around your favorite characters including Snoopy and Charlie Brown.

Veggie Tales: An Easter Carol' (Not Rated) - The retelling of A Christmas Carol is veggie-fied to tell the story of Easter, as Mr. Nezzer is shown past, present, and future.

Veggie Tales: 'Twas the Night before Easter (TV-Y7) - In Crispy County, local cable news reporter Marlee Meade organizes a play to save an old theatre. 

Ben-Hur (2016 PG-13) -  This classic depicts the life and crucifixion of Christ through the eyes of Judah Ben-Hur, a Jewish prince who's been wrongfully imprisoned, is seeking revenge, but finds redemption.
