Mac Kid Cooks with Cuisinart Breakfast Express Waffle & Omelet Maker

May 5, 2017

Last week I received a Cuisinart Breakfast Express Waffle and Omelet Maker to review, and I have to tell you, it truly is a game changer. No more having to get up early. No more slaving over the stove on Saturday mornings to make breakfast. In fact, I love the Cuisinart Breakfast Express Waffle and Omelet Maker so much, we use it all day long…. not just for breakfast! In fact, I’ve made breakfast for dinner three times within one week of own the Cuisinart Breakfast Express.

Now, instead of standing by the stove several hours to make breakfast for everyone, I only mix the batter together (Hey, I still like to cook.) And the kids prepare their own waffles whenever they get up. When we want extra protein with our meal, we heat up the omelet side of the unit and make an omelet at the same time. Life is easy!

And did I mention clean up? It couldn’t be easier! After the plates have cooled, simply brush crumbs from grooves and absorb any excess oil by wiping with a dry paper towel….much easier than my griddle that has to be soaked and scrubbed.

The Cuisinart Breakfast Express Waffle and Omelet Maker comes with complete instructions and recipes that will give you an easy start. It contains waffle and omelet recipe ideas, as well as recipes for pancakes, French toast, and even cornbread.

If you happen to be gluten free, like our household, don’t fear! We have an easy recipe below that is gluten free and even vegan friendly.
