Chicken Pot Pie

On these cool, wet days, a little comfort food warms the insides.  Here's an easy recipe for a traditional comfort food.  


WHAT YOU NEED:

1 chicken; boiled and deboned

1 onion, chopped

1 10 oz can of cream of chicken soup

1 10 oz can of cream of mushroom soup

1 29 oz can of Vege All mixed vegetables

Salt and pepper to taste


CRUST:

2 teaspoons of butter, melted

1 cup of flour

2/3 cup of milk


Place boiled/deboned chicken in a casserole dish. In a large boil, mix onion, cream of chicken and mushroom soup, mixed vegetables, and salt and pepper. Pour mixture over chicken. 

For crust - Mix butter, flour, and milk. Pour and spread over the vegetable mixture. 

Place in a 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes or until the crust is lightly browned.
