These ornaments have been around for a long time. (I mean before there were even ovens!) What I love best about them is that they are super easy, very cute, and they make the house smell amazing!
Cinnamon Ornaments
What you need:
- 3/4 cup applesauce
- 4 oz cinnamon (I found a bottle that was 3.88oz.)
- Rolling pin
- Cookie cutters
- Straw or toothpick
- String
Mix applesauce and cinnamon together
Knead until it can be rolled out
Roll out
Cut with cookie cutters
Make a hole with a straw or toothpick
Put on rack until dry (1-2 days)
String and hang!
