The Georgia Renaissance Festival is an art and entertainment festival combining outdoor theater, circus-style entertainment, and an arts and crafts marketplace, set in a recreation of a 16th-Century English village.

Voted a “Top 20 Event in the Southeast”, our 30th annual season opens April 18 through June 7, 2015, Saturdays and Sundays including Memorial Day. 

The Festival is located at 6905 Virlyn B. Smith Road, Fairburn, Georgia 30213.  Gates open at 10:30am and close at 6pm.

We're celebrating the land of pasta and piazzas! Special games, activities, and a Toga costume contest for both adults and kids will have you saying "Mama Mia!" You'll won't want to miss the Roman riding and chariots during the new EQUUS MAXIMUS Joust!

One child (12 and under) gets in free with each paid Adult! A full day of kid-friendly activities featuring the Maypole Dance, the Amazing Maze, games and rides galore! NEW THIS YEAR - Dream Hayven Farm's interactive animal discovery garden featuring Kira the Unicorn! We'll be hosting a kids-only costume contest with prizes and other special surprises!

Treat Mom like a Queen on her special weekend. On Sunday, the first 100 Moms through the gate receive a flower, and we’ll be judging our Royal Cupcake Wars entries!

This weekend we're ignoring the calendar and hosting one big cosmic reunion. Don't be surprised to see storm troopers mingling with super heroes as we welcome you to cosplay to your heart's content. Grab your sonic screwdriver, and be sure to enter our costume contest (one for kids and one for adults).

MAY 30 & 31 PIRATES INVASION WEEKEND!

Scalawags and swashbucklers are welcome as we set sail on a weekend of seafaring adventure. The Pirate Costume Contest has categories for children, men, and women - sign up at the Pirate's Cove. If you think you're smarter than a sea dog, sign up at the Information Booth for the Walk the Plank Trivia Contest! And if that weren't enough, the Sea Legs Relay Race will separate the scallawags from the land lubbers.

Our 30th Anniversary comes to a close this weekend! Feast like a King and shop like a Queen, but hurry! After this weekend we’re history – until 2016!
