We love the movie, Madagascar! And one of our favorite characters is the lemur, King Julien. We simply can’t get enough of King Julien and his self-absorbed, hilarious, party antics!!
Can you imagine how excited we were to learn that DreamWorks Animation’s “All Hail King Julien” debuted as a Netflix original series in December, 2014? With the release of another five episodes to the series, my family and I had the pleasure of previewing three of the episodes this past week.
“All Hail King Julien” doesn't disappoint. The setting takes place on Madagascar prior to the first movie. Mort and Maurice are right by the King’s side, along with two new characters: Clover, the king’s special-ops expert, and Masikura, a psychic chameleon who appears when King Julien calls. As with all King lulien appearance, there's some potty humor. However, with all his negative character traits, he always manages to show some heart when the chips are down.
