Synopsis

Disneytoon Studios returns to Pixie Hollow with the heartwarming adventure “Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast.” The new story explores an ancient myth of a fabled creature whose distant roar sparks the curiosity of Tinker Bell’s good friend Fawn (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin), an animal fairy who’s not afraid to break the rules to help an animal in need. But this animal—massive and strange with glowing green eyes—is not really welcome in Pixie Hollow, and the scout fairies are determined to capture the mysterious beast before it destroys their home.

Fawn, who sees a tender heart beneath his gruff exterior, must convince Tink (voice of Mae Whitman) and the girls to risk everything to rescue the NeverBeast before time runs out.

Our Review

Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast is a lovely tale in which Tinker Bell is the co-star while her friend, Fawn, takes the lead. As with all Disney movies, the animations come to life as we discover the legend of the NeverBeast.

This is truly a family film.  Even my children, ages 11 and 13, enjoyed this film that contains action, comedy and adventure.  With a NeverBeast that Fawn names Gruff and several action-packed scenes, boys probably will enjoy this movie almost as much as the girls.  The film does have some scary scenes that could frighten younger children, especially if they are very sensitive.  However, at our movie premiere, we had children ages 12 months on up and none of them seemed afraid during the scary parts.

With themes that focus on friendship, trust, and following your heart, this is a wonderful movie that also teaches children that they can’t always judge a book by its cover.

Personally, I loved this film!  It’s a “must see” for every fairy fan!
