MacKid Review: TotSeat

A portable highchair for babies and toddlers

February 25, 2015
Have you ever been out and your baby/toddler had to sit on your lap because there was no highchair available?  Well, you can say goodbye to those days because TotSeat is a convenient portable high chair that you’ll want to keep with you everywhere you go!

I had the opportunity to review the Totseat this past week.  Initially, I was very impressed with how compact it is and that it even folds up into its own little travel bag.  But then, I thought, "I wonder how easy it is to use?"

I admit.  It wasn’t very intuitive at first and I did use the instruction manual.  However, after I followed the directions one time, I was able to setup the Totseat in a minute, including the time it took to strap baby in!  (OK, I did have a cooperative baby!)  :-)

Some additional things you should know about TotSeat:
  • It’s made to fit all chairs.
  • It has a backing for chairs that don't have a lower back support for baby.
  • TotSeat is super easy to clean – just throw in wash.
  • It’s easy to use and installs in under a minute.
  • TotSeat is Super Portable - Packs into a small bag, easy to carry, small enough to fit in a diaper bag, great for traveling.
  • Lastly, TotSeat makes a great baby shower gift!
I do love that TotSeat is completely machine washable. Kids tend to get messy and this seat can be folded into its little carrying sack, carted it home, and thrown into the wash.

In looking at online reviews, TotSeat got great reviews for being safe and holding your baby/toddler in the chair.  Nonetheless, as with any highchair, never leave your child unattended!

One last note - This is the one item at the Baby Brunch that moms really wanted!  With a choice of patterns and fabric you’re sure to find a design that suits you.
