July 23, 2014
On Wednesday, July 30th at 2:30 p.m., Cassandra Scott will be at The Carnegie for Kids Theatre “Sensing Adventure”.  Kids will go on a bear hunt using all 5 of their senses and be asked to describe their experience.  Kids can dress up for the occasion.  Ages Pre-K through elementary.

Cassandra Scott currently is Northgate High School's theatre director. She received her BS. Ed. with Honors from Columbus State University. During College, she worked for the college as the resident House Manager, was an educator at The Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, GA, President of Alpha Psi Omega Theatre Honors Fraternity, and on the planning committee for Georgia Thespian Conference. Cassandra just closed The Aristocats Summer Camp at The Centre for Performing and Visual Arts of Coweta County: where forty 4th - 6th grade students auditioned, learned, rehearsed, and performed a production in a week. She will be returning to Northgate for her third year as an educator this Fall.

“We are so excited to have Ms. Scott here at the Carnegie, said Amy Mapel, Carnegie Director.  I’ve seen several of the shows she’s directed including “Pinkalicious” and “Shrek, the Musical” and I know the kids will have a great time!”
