Coweta Parks and Playgrounds

Chattahoochee Bend State Park, 425 Bobwhite Way, Newnan, GA
Visitors can enjoy hiking, alongside the river, enjoy the views from an observation tower, canoe, kayak and camp in a traditional tent or RV site or opt for riverside platform camping and "Adirondack" three-sided shelters.


Carl Miller Park, 74 Sewell Rd, Newnan, GA
The 14-acre park features picnic tables, pavilions for groups of up to 150 people, walking/jogging trail, preschool and elementary playgrounds, Kids' Castle Playground with Splash Pad.

Andrew Bailey Park - 1011 Andrew Bailey Rd., Sharpsburg, GA
Contains baseball fields.

Arnco Park - 50 Ball St., Sargent, GA 

C.J. Smith Park - 5 Glenn St., Newnan, GA
The lower half of the park contains an adult size softball field and miscellaneous playground equipment. Several picnic tables, as well as grills, are also available for gatherings. The upper half of the park is the home of the Coweta County African American Heritage Museum and Research Center.


Clay-Wood Community Center   - 135 Heery Rd., Newnan, GA
A gymnasium with a weight room, locker rooms and a basketball court.  Outdoor amenities include a playground, two tennis courts, a basketball court and a pavilion with picnic tables. 


Grantville Park - 23 Colley St., Grantville, GA


Hunter Complex   - 2970 E. Hwy 16, Sharpsburg, GA
The complex has three football fields, a gymnasium, two adult softball fields, a special needs field, four youth baseball/softball fields and a walking trail and two tennis courts.


Lynch Park Pool  - 23 Richard Allen Drive, Newnan, GA
The 4,200 sq. ft. pool includes a 42-foot-wide zero entry, a mushroom water feature, four lanes for recreational lap swimming, a dedicated catch pool for the water slide, a splash fountain for kids, and several tables and shade umbrellas. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Temple Avenue Complex  - 39 Hospital Road, Newnan, GA
This complex features a gymnasium, meeting rooms, a kitchen, three tennis courts, one football field, seven baseball fields, one softball field, outdoor pavilion and also hosts the Asa M. Powell, Sr. Expo Center, the Tommy Thompson Senior Center and the Art House.

B. T. Brown Park Pavilion and Reservoir - 621 S Alexander Creek Road, NewnanAmenities include fishing, pavilions, and playgrounds.

Newnan City Parks

Greenville Street Park  between Greenville Street, LaGrange Street, & Salbide Ave.
A two acre urban park within walking distance of historic downtown Newnan, designed as a first class gathering place.  First Avenue Park – located along First Avenue A 3.5 acre neighborhood park designed for play and exercise and includes covered pavilions, fenced playground area, grassed multi-purpose fields, and a paved walkway trail system.


Temple Avenue Park – park located within the historic Temple Avenue residential district A 2.5 acre walking recreational park with paved paths. A Veterans Memorial granite monument is also located on the east side of the park.


Cranford Park – located along Jackson Street A .70 acre recreational park that contains meandering brick and concrete walkways, spotted with benches that traverse the heavily landscaped park.

C. J. Smith Park – located along Farmer Street A 12 acre park with an adult size softball field and miscellaneous playground equipment. Several picnic tables, as well as grills, are also available for gatherings. 


Lynch Park - located along Wesley Street and Richard Allen Drive (across the street from the Boys and Girls Club)A 6.2 acre active neighborhood park that contains the Wesley Street Gymnasium, the Duncan Street Pool, and Pickett Field, a large baseball and softball field. Also includes several pieces of playground equipment.


Ray Park - located along Spring Street and Ray Circle A 1.8 acre park that contains 4 tennis courts and two small open grassed areas.  Westgate Park – located at the end of West Park Court A small neighborhood baseball/softball field.


Senoia City Parks


Seavy Street Park Amenities include 2 playgrounds, 2 lighted tennis courts.


Marimac Lakes Park Amenities include walking trails, seasonal fishing (contact City Hall for information).
