Fayette County Parks


Brooks Park – 120 Railroad Ave., Brooks

Amenities of this 17-acre park include Baseball/softball fields, playground area, walking/jogging paths and pavilions.


Kenwood Park – 265 Hwy 279, Fayetteville

This 172-acre park has a nature area, basketball, volleyball  and tennis courts, walking/jogging paths, a playground, and pavilions.


Kiwanis Park – 936 Redwine Rd., Fayetteville

Amenities of this 40-acre park include baseball fields, basketball and tennis courts, walking/jogging paths, a playground, and pavilions.


McCurry Park – 180 McDonough Rd., Fayetteville

This 130-acre park has softball, soccer & football fields, as well as walking/jogging paths, a playground, and pavilions.

Morgan Grove Nature Area - 181 Morgan Rd., Fayetteville

This 60-acre nature area has open meadow, woddlands, creeks and wetlands with a series of nature trails and a wetland boardwalk, as well as picnic tables and benches.


Lake Horton Park – 1076 Hwy. 92 S, Fayetteville

Lake Horton Park is 82 acres and offers 2.8 miles of paved walking trails, boat ramps, picnic areas and fishing.


Sam's Lake Sanctuary - Old Senoia Rd., Fayetteville 

A restored wetland provides exceptional bird habitat and a great place to visit with 3 observation decks and a mulched trail.  

Fayetteville Parks

Church Street Park - located just off Main Street in Fayetteville. Make a right on Church Street (across from the First Methodist Church). Park is on the right.

Basketball court, picnic pavilion, and play ground.

Prime Community Park
- 1205 Hwy 92 S, Fayetteville (corner of Hwy 92 South and Antioch Road)

Let the kids enjoy the old-time swing or bring a snack and sit at the "rock table". The garden connection with the Episcopal Church of the Nativity features many trails all around the church. Make sure you follow the mile-long, winding path to the center of the new labyrinth.


Peachtree City Parks

Beaver Dam Park – N. Meade Dr. Peachtree City

Amenities include a picnic area and playground.


Braelinn Recreation Complex -  Log House Road, Peachtree City

Amenities include baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, physical fitness exercise stations, and playground.


Drake Field - Willowbend Road at City Hall, Peachtree City 

Offers fishing, a picnic area, and multipurpose field.


Glenloch Recreation Center  - 601 Stevens Entry, Peachtree City

Amenities include pool (summer months only), soccer fields, basketball court, tennis courts, playground and multipurpose building.


Huddleston Pond Park – 221 Windgate Rd., Peachtree City

Offers fishing, walking/jogging loop, picnic areas, and a playground.

Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center - 202 Kedron Drive, Peachtree City

Amenities include pools, inline hockey rink, gymnasium, multipurpose building, and playground.

Lake McIntosh - TDK Blvd., Peachtree City

Fishing, boating, pavilion and playground area.


Luther Glass Memorial Park – S. Peachtree Pkwy. (across from Braelinn Shopping Ctr.)

Amenities include picnic area, fishing and small playground.


McIntosh Trail Recreation Complex – McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City

Amenities include a skateboard ramp, BMX track, picnic area, The Gathering Place (Senior Center), Flat Creek Nature Center, Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater, dog park, and walking trails. 

Picnic Park/ All Children's Playground Willowbend Road (behind library), Peachtree City

This is an accessible playground with covered picnic shelter.

Riley Field Complex -  Wisdom Road near GA 74, Peachtree City

Amenities include walking/running track, football field and covered picnic shelter.

Line Creek Nature Preserve - off Highway 54 on the Fayette/Coweta County line 

Visitors will enjoy a fishing dock on a small pond, a gazebo and several miles of nature trails.   

Flat Creek Nature Area – accessible by golf cart path.

A 513-acre wetland in Peachtree City that extends 3.5 miles along Flat Creek, from the Lake Peachtree spillway at Kelly Drive/McIntosh Trail downstream to Highway 74.

Tyrone Parks

Shamrock Park – located on Senoia Road, adjacent to the Police Station. 

Amenities include a baseball field, tennis, and basketball courts, walking, jogging, and fishing.


Redwine Park -  located off Senoia Road on Byewood Lane.Amenities include softball fields.


Handley Park -  100 Handley Rd., Tyrone

Amenities include baseball and soccer fields.
