Fayetteville Main Street officially marks the beginning of the holiday season with its annual Downtown Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting festivities. The public is invited to gather downtown for this massive celebration that includes music, food, and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus in the gazebo. The parade starts at 5pm and will work its way up through the downtown square. During that time, free hot chocolate and popcorn will be available, courtesy of Rolling Hills Baptist Church and Gospel Community Church; and kids can visit with Santa from 5pm-6pm.
