This is a very sturdy machine. With an 11-cup work bowl, it’s is great for families to prep large meals. Personally, I love the wide mouth feed tube to reduce prep time!
The BPA-free Elemental is easy to clean and has removable, dishwasher-safe parts. It comes with an adjustable slicing disc that enables you to pick the desired thickness. The reversible shredding disk enables coarse or fine shredding.
As an aside, Cuisinart’s customer service is fantastic! When I got the food processor, I was fighting a really bad cold, and a hard time following the setup instructions. In the process, I broke one of the plastic pieces. I called Cuisinart’s customer service dept. and they immediately sent a replacement part.
Overall, this machine can mix, chop, puree, emulsify, liquefy, knead, shred, and slice. This is a really great product for food prep.
