On June 26, the first season of the all-new Netflix original series DRAGONS: RACE TO THE EDGE from DreamWorks Animation will debut.  Bringing with it are all of your favorite dragon riders: Hiccup and Astrid, along with Fishlegs, Tuffnut, Ruffnut and Snotlout…and don’t forget their special dragon friends!

DRAGONS: RACE TO THE EDGE takes place between the two theatrical How To Train Your Dragon films. Hiccup is living with his father in the village of Berk.   As a young man in search of adventure, Hiccup relentlessly hunts for new breeds of dragons.  Unfortunately, there are no new breeds to be found and Hiccup is getting bored.

When he discovers a mysterious, ancient artifact known as the Dragon Eye, Hiccup exclaims “This changes everything!” The secrets locked within the Dragon Eye are truly remarkable, containing new information about undiscovered dragons and islands far beyond the borders of Berk. As Hiccup and his friends venture from the safety of Berk and fly farther than ever before, they discover Dragon’s Edge, a lush island on which they establish their outpost – a home base for all their new adventures.

What they don’t realize is that there are fierce dragons waiting to destroy them, and the stakes are high as our heroes must battle evil dragon-hunting villains who will stop at nothing until they seize the powerful Dragon Eye!
Providing the same brilliantly colored animation and storyline suspense, this series is a treat for all “How To Train Your Dragon” fans!  This series continues the distinctive blend of action, adventure, humor and heart established by the movies, along with the novels by Cressida Cowell that inspired them.

For those who have never seen the “How To Train Your Dragons” movies, the series provides a storyline that is fresh and exciting so anyone can enjoy.   Just like the movies, this series also will entertain parents with humor, and adventure.

I know what my family will be watching this Friday!
